About this release
Ziptype for Mac is available to download. The app and installer are Developer ID signed and Apple notarized. Some custom editors may not work.
Google sign-in and cloud sync remain limited to configured test accounts. Local use needs no account. Clean installation on another Mac, update/data preservation and broader sync testing are not complete.
Updating or enabling sync?
Export a backup first, then quit Ziptype before replacing the app in Applications. Do not delete your library or uninstall the Chrome extension.
Signing in alone does not upload your library. Review the device and cloud versions before choosing either one. If macOS rejects the app, contact us—do not bypass Gatekeeper.
Need help with a shortcut?
Include the shortcut, app or text field, Ziptype version, macOS version, and what happened. Hide private text in screenshots; never send passwords, sign-in codes, tokens, or private keys.
For ready-made shortcuts, explore the prompt library and its “How to use” guide.
Privacy & terms
The published Privacy Policy describes the earlier local-only extension and needs updating for account and cloud-sync features before their public release. The Terms of Use are still a draft for review.
